| 16 May 2003 | Saraneth | I think this is so beautiful. You can see their pain... and the song fits so perfectly. I love this picture so much! I think it's amazing the amount of feeling you can put intop a simple pencil drawing.
I think it would be interesting if you decided to color it. I love it the way it is and I think the sketchyness of it adds to it, but light colored pencil would be amazing.
I think that the person who insulted you and your picture is either blind or jealous. I think that this picture is wonderful as it is.

| 26 Sep 2003 |  Anthony F. Green | Great sense of emotion in the picture. The guy seems dazed and the girl really filled with worry/sadness. There are a few things that can spruce up the picture though. The lyrics are drowning out the picture itself. The lettering is so dark and solid it catches the eye more than the figures. If the figures were more distinct and the lines darker to make them "pop", they'd once again take centre stage. Also the guy doesn't look as wounded as you describe. Which may have to do with the lightness of the pencils. Good concept and good use of a song. | |
