SciFi and Fantasy Art: Life

In my OAC year, we had to pick a theme and do five pieces on it. My theme was the cycle of life...sort of. It kinda progressed into a study of the mystical fundamentals of the universe--for lack of a better description--(good, evil, life, death and balance). This one is life. He looks a little androgynous but I especially like the fact he has four arms :).

16 Jan 2002	Meee	Loading... I noticed you spent your comment talking about the quirky four-armed fae, but I was actually struck by the beauty of the leaves and the tree branches. The different shades of green and brown that you used really brought the picture to life! In contrast, the fae looked a little - dare I say it? - cartoony, a little less real than his surroundings. I like his four arms though. ^_^
