SciFi and Fantasy Art: Arjun

This is just an alternate version of the other Arjun picture. In this one a zombie arm is rising up while under Arjun's control. Arjun is a necromancer (well duh) who was created by Heather A. Harvey (gallery 554). She does some awesome work so you should check it out. This piece was done in Photoshop entirely.

Heather said exactly what I was thinking of seeing those lines, I like it, it gives a very special effect to the image. The hand of the zombie is great, he is very demanding. Beautiful light, beautiful atmosphere, beautiful composition, beautiful picture!! Congratulations, Duncan, you did it again.

Ooo OOOh!! I know! Like Sabriel?? She was a necromancer, too. Mrr, good book. 2 Now, for your piccy, dis is rally kool! I like how you can see those little sketch marks underneath...your original, I assume? It gives it a..humm...wildish scratchy look, it gives the impression that the creator was good enough to paint the rest of the picture in order, but those little underlines sneak thru and show the true self. I hope I made sense. 12

Duncan! Thank you so much for drawing Arjun! You did an amazing job on this! I love the composition, and the entire mood of the picture. And the color, it reminds me of the dim filtered light one would see in a vault. The perfect setting for a necromancer. ^^

Oooo, a little freaky, but cool. 2 I think the hand really brings something into this picture. What's the word I'm looking for? I'll think of it long after this has posted, but it's really nicely done. 2 I like the wave of light(?) emanating (sp) from his fingers. This does not look like someone to be trifled with, well not that I would trifle with someone who raises the dead. 12

This is one hell of a splendid composition. I like the style you used for the necromancer and background lots. Very special. The hand in the front is great in contrast with the rest. Bravo!

Fantastic!! I love the darkness. It so good it reminds me of Neil Gaiman's writing style. If that makes sense 2 (lol it makes sense to the little voice in my head)

Wait a minute. You like my drawing, you still create like this? No, no, noooooooo. Your words should be for your creations. They do over-justice to mine, and these works should be praised for the incredible emotional content they hold! The sheer sense of overpowering darkness and color blended with emotion makes this works truly stand out. Fantastic!

This is photoshop?! This does not look photoshoppy. Very artsy. Has a nice angular momentum.
