SciFi and Fantasy Art: 3D Dragon complete 1

This is the first of three production renders of the completed dragon. These renders are basically used to ensure the Dragon looks okay and doesn't have any major problems. There is two light sources in each of the 3. And these are not meant as finished productions in any way.

Quite an interesting 3d Dragon. I would suggest more polygons to smooth him out a little bit but you are off to a great start. Hope to see more of you soon!

Thanks for the comment Tom, glad you like the dragon. Just a question, where would these extra polys go? His body was done with the MetaReyes plugin which is curved by default and seriously dense face wise. I used Surface Tools for the head and that's as curvy as can be. Granted, the spines are pretty abrupt, but that was intentional. So I'm always happy to make changes if neccessary I just can't think where he needs smoothing.

I hate to be critical, I really do, but there's something about this pic i don't like. I mean, i saw the one's that show the progression of the modeling, and it's an amazing model, with great muscle detail and everything, it's just not comming through in this pic. Maybe changing the pose, or the camera angle, or all of the above. Again, I'm sorry for the criticism.
