| 12 Feb 2001 |  Anneke Hut | Looking at this picture and at the finished angel, I see you've changed the eyes a little, make them glow more, gave the sword more shine and put a lot of light on the wings. It seems the skin is a little darker here? But maybe that is a scanning-matter?
At this stage the background has to be filled in or did you do that already on an other layer? I would be very afraid to draw in this picture when it is already so beautiful  | |
| 13 Feb 2001 |  The art guy, again | The skin is darker here and that's due to 2 reasons: 1 'cause of the white background the skin looks stronger than it is and 2: in the finished image there is a lot of light and glows from other sources which lighten and sofetn the skin. Scanning isn't an issue for colour because it was coloured entirely in Photoshop. The background hadn't been done at this point and was done on several new layers. | |
