SciFi and Fantasy Art: Steel works

This is an image of the steel production works that produce the steel used to build many different machines including the 'Bug mech'. While it seems low tech compared to the machines it is used to build, it is not because the people here have had no advancements in this field, but because they believe in the simple philosophy of 'If it works, don't fix it'. Around the works are some of the regulatory craft who keep a check on the operation of the plant. This was done in 3DS Max 3.

I like this one very much, it really is a steel production works I, ve seen it often in real,(YEAH ME! surprised eh?) it has these dark atmosphere. The yellow is beautiful and the 'things' in the sky, lovely. I don't get, these pictures were here sooner than your fantasy pictures?
