SciFi and Fantasy Art: Malvernious The Dragonmancer

Heh just another pen and ink illustration. Tried for an interesting clothing design. high fantasy perhaps with still a little bit of warrior feel to the character, hence the sword at his side. What I really enjoyed with the picture is his wyvern or psuedo dragon familiar perched on his fore arm.

22 Oct 2003	Niina Aalto	Loading... Love his impression I can´t really see him wielding that sword very effectively, though, at least not in those clothes. Oh, and, oh damn this... first comment dance (Is slamdancing okay?) Jamison D. Madson replies: "lol yeah guess he couldn't use that sword all that well with the robes and vestement, not to mention his towering cap. On the other side though I think he's just going for the intimidation factor of owning a pet wyvern, after all with a pet like that I wouldn't need a sword hehe."
