Tag As FavoriteComment		It had to happen eventually, so here it is: my drow. I was really tired of all the priestesses of Loth being portrayed as mega-sluts and I wanted to do another take on it... somthing with a little more sutblty and less skin.
Priestesses are usually veiled and highly adorned with jewelery, so I decorated her luxuriously. I also made sure she was well dressed, yet I wanted to keep and air of sexuality about her. I'm not sure if I suceeded, but I'm quite happy with the veil and her expression.
Spiders were the theme for her costume, since after all, she worships the spider queen, Loth. I also gave her purple and black clothing since they are her preferred colours.
Coloured Pencils & black ink, 60lb paper.

Purple eyes... does that mean she's as nice as Drizzt? She looks not quite as cruel as most of the worshippers of Loth tend to be. Well done.

Her lips really stand out as realistic. The rest of her is very well done too, the shading especially, and I kind of like that the only colors are purple and gold. Very drow. Good job of drawing personality - that's gotta be tough.

Excellent use of color! The simple scheme helps us viewers to focus on her face and expression, which, I must add, are really good! How did you render the veil? Some kind of colorless blender, maybe?
