| 10 Sep 2006 | max | OK! This is what I'm talking about! This is Robert E. Howard's Conan. This man's limbs arn't all oiled down like a body builder. He is a hard man from what I can see. I am a REH fanatic and his Conan isn't a male P**n Star. I love the tunic and cloak, it's perfect. The only problem is that REH describes Conan as a hairy hillman from the North. In this stupid day N age, we make our heroes pretty boys; well, sorry people because Conan ain't. He's got hair and a beard. So artist, lets make REH proud, forget the "so called fans" because Conan is a beasty, hairy son of a cimmerian! Crom! | |
| 26 Nov 2006 | Anonymous | Looks a bit weedy for Howard's hero. Now, I'm no fan of the oiled-up, chest-hair-waxing, steroid-abusing bodybuilder Conan of the comics and Boris Vallejo's godawful 'art', but he's supposed to be a BIG man who wrestles with savage Cimmerian cave-bears without breaking into a sweat. As a drawing, though, it's not half bad (damneth he faint-praisingly ). | |
