| 16 Jun 2006 | Marie | this is so incredibly amazing. i think you;ve done justice to the incrediblye beautiful, perfect works of the sublime Ms Hobb. | |
| 29 Aug 2006 | Baljit | One of the best quality pictures in the Farseer series I've seen so far. I must admit that I imagined Fitzchivalry to be more weathered by the time he received the shock of white hair. Excellent detail and I love the composition of the wolf and moon in the background. Great work! | |
| 13 Sep 2006 | Molly | I LOVE this picture its so beautiful. You can totally see Nighteyes as an extension of Fitz... He's my favourite character and this is the best i've seen him done, its almost exactly how i see him in my head! | |
| 22 Dec 2006 | Sannah | I didn't imagine him more weathered, more... Seedy looking?(i know drug adicts) no, seedy's not right, strung out and desperate, scared, angry, depressed (although depressed people don't look it all the time, i know a lot of them too)... i didn't imagine him making time to look wise and strong and nobly determined (though he was that so maybe it's a flaw in my imagination) But despite all the diferences this is amazingly close to how i see him... Yay and gosh he's handsome | |
| 10 Feb 2007 | Anonymous | I envy your drawing skills. | |
| 23 Jun 2007 | Laura | oh this is so beautiful! he looks exactly how i pictured him, i can just see the youthful idealism in his face! i love the way you drew him in profile, you have truly captured the essence of this character. It's just gorgeous, i've fallen in love with him all over again! (molly doesn't deserve him ;P) | |
| 23 Jul 2007 | Angi | Don't really mean to rain here, you are pretty good, but I have learned to be critical; and in my personal opinion criticism is a good thing. It allows you to get better. So here goes (mind, this is only what I see, so don't take offence):
I think the wolf's nose-ridge was a bit too short. I'm not an artist, but of that I'm sure. I like wolves. One of the reasons I read the book. Like the detail you put. It makes a huge difference. Fitz's nose doesn't seem broken somehow. Maybe the line's a bit too straight. Sword looks a bit too fancy for a runaway. Dunno when in the story you drew him. If it was later on somewhere, where he's fighting (i assume he's fighting, since he has a sword drawn), then it could be said his clothes are in too good a state, and he's too plump.
Please excuse me if I'm confusing my story when's. To also give you credit for a fantastic job, let me tell you, I had to do several look overs to find what I think I did. You did a fantastic job.
| 5 Apr 2008 | Pehico | Such amazing! I’m so impressed by your skills! This FitzChivalry isn’t exactly as I thought, but I find him realistic enought to bow before you and say thank you! | |
| 10 Apr 2008 | Honeyedapricots | I think this is better than some of the cover art for the Farseer books I’ve seen out there...
I’m guessing this is Chivalry’s sword, and before Fitz had his nose broken by his enemy’s lackeys. From around the time he’s taking care of all those Forged Ones.
| 10 Apr 2008 | Anon. | love it so much be the sword looks to fancy.
