| 26 Jan 2001 | Eva Durwen | I think I know what's missing .... Yes, I do check your gallery every now and then. How're you doing? Several things are missing... a shirt, for example ;-) But I guess I know what you mean. I hope you still like what you see, I can always use your skill of the good eye. I am fine, I hope you are too. Thanks for stopping by. | |
| 27 Jan 2001 | Eva Durwen | Okay, some constructive criticsm then ;-) (1) Something I also noticed about your other drawings. His neck. It looks as if he was Cardassian, it's too broad and muscular, it seems off shape. Most of it might be the cloak, but since I know your other drawings I think it's his neck again ;-) (2) his forearms don't seem to match the muscles of his upper arms (3) I believe his hands are too fragile for the rest of his body and arms... but that might just be me Uhm... yes, that's all for now Neck... hmm... never really thought about that but yeah, you're right ;-) I am not exactly sure what's wrong, whether it's the neck itself, or the head, or maybe the shoulders. Despite hundreds of studies I still don't get the shoulders right. Forearms is a field I need to develope too, like everything. *sigh* If you compare this hands to the ones I drew at "the truth hurts" yeah, I think they're too small ;-) But I was happy they at least LOOKED like hands. Thanks for the valuable comments, I hope I can implement them in a next drawing. | |
