SciFi and Fantasy Art: Jade

Announcing Jade, Official Priestess to THE Goddess. Actually, it's quite complicated. Last year I created this character called Jade (who's a spotted genet) because I was bored and also wanted to try different types of animals other than just canines, felines, and the usual for me. Since I saw a picture of a real-life spotted genet, I created Jade (I love that name!) Anyway, after creating her, a few months past, and then my friend said she was the 'New Goddess'. Please don't insult her sanity . . . please. Anyway, my sane friend went on like this, and then we created a whole list of stuff that involved the goddesses, and since she was the Goddess of Neutrality and Jade was the Priestess to the Goddess of Good (who is no more, by the way), she decided to become Priestess to the Goddess of Neutrality because neutrality is all good and all evil, for without neutrality, good and evil cannot exist. Anyway, enough with the rambling, this is an old picture, Jade looks different (slightly) now.

Very interesting story behind the pic. Much like the story behind one I'm planning to stick up sometime. Only it was me claiming I was all sorts of things, and got everyone in on it. I do that. It's fun. 2 Pic will go in the zone once I get a gallery there. Too weird for fantasy... 2 Anyways... just wanted to say I love this pic!

SOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOOOL! I can't believe you know what a genet is! *melt* I love this whole furry thing, I find so many other people who enjoy exotic species. Clio Chiang has a tapir in her gallery! I have been drawing genets since I was eight and first saw them in National Geographic *grin* This is a loverly loverly rendition =^..^= I hope she hasn't changed too much!

I found out what a genet was by looking at a sticker of one in my sticker animal book. Heh. However, I love genets and their markings, and I think Jade looks good as one. No, I'm never giving her hair, because genets with hair look wierd.

¤Wow! It's so pretty! I never heard of a genet before. I think you drew this really good. I like the way that you did her markings and how you do such a good job with the colored pencils.¤

Buh-Bye,
Jade Juva

P.S. I'm hopefully getting a gallery here too 2
