SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sybya the Angel Warrior

Okay, Sybya's story is a bit complex. See, she died full of grief and sadness over everything, but since she did nothing particularly evil, she was sent to Heaven. There, she was turned into an angel warrior because she has so much sadness and grief that she can't function like normal angels or guardian angels or whatever. Anyway, her job is to take souls to Heaven. See, when you die, your soul goes to either Hell or Heaven. It'll get there eventually, but it takes awhile, and before it gets there, it kinda floats around in the spiritual relm. During that time, the demons from Hell may feed on the good souls, so that the soul is no more. So the angel warriors are supposed to collect the good souls and bring them to heaven, and they frequently have to battle demons. Actually, that's what they're supposed to do on their 'off-time' when they're not collecting souls, destroy demons. It's a very elite force, only about two angels make it every year. Anyway, Sybya may be young, but she's one of the best angel warriors there is. Besides, I like how her face came out, though Fudgiebob ate the colours and made it look weird.

Great description but, and I really hate to have to tell you this, she's a dog.**Sigh.** Well, of course she's a dog. What did you think she was, a human? I can't draw humans for a trillion dollars, so don't think I'll start drawing them now. **Grin.**

This pic looks great! The only thing I see wrong with it is the eyes(I have a hard time with them myself10) Great job!

I like the description, but it has a gentle look about it, not the look of a warrior, er dog hunter. It should have a slightly slanted eyes to show her position as one who has battled and been through the war you describe.People . . . **Sighs.** She's a warrior angel, she's in Heaven, she's dead. Obviously, they heal quickly, and they have the power to heal themselves. I'm sorry to sound snipy, but I don't think people are interpreting my picture correctly, or the way I want them to, at least. Besides, this really is my own interpretation of angels and stuff, and my interpretation says, they can heal each other and yet look like those angels we think of at the same time. So there.

Forgot to mention that I love the higlights on her hair!

What do slanted eyes have to do with anything? Sybya's face definitely conveys past sorrow, and a lot of uncertainty as well. I think it fits the description you gave perfectly.

I love her shiny hair! And I like the way you do fox's (dogs?) noses! They are so small and cute ^.^ mine, on the other hand, are big and overstuffed. Ohhhh well. ^_^ Her eyes do look a bit weird but that's ok cause this pic is awesome 1

She is very pretty, and picturesque, but her eyes are way scary. Th' pupils/iris' are in th' wrong places, making her look crosseyed on further inspection. However, her swarthy clothes are very well done, as are her wings and face.
