SciFi and Fantasy Art: Unicorn with a Ribbon

First thing's first, I DO NOT like this picture. I did when I drew it, two years ago, but not anymore. It's nose is WAY too big, and the shading came out all wrong. Fudgiebob, my scanner, made it even worse. Well, I like unicorns, so here's one of the many unicorns I've drawn. This happens to be one of the only ones I have readily scanned, so I thought to myself, 'Why not post it so that everyone knows your art sucks?' As I said, optimistic, am I not?

Hey! This looks kinda like a unicorn that I've drawn, cept that mine is much much much worse and shall never show up in Loth. 1 Well, actually it's not a uni, it's just a horse. 1 But it could have an invisible horn, right? This pic isn't that bad, but you're right, the nostril(s) are a bit too big and the ears a too small, or something like that.

It's not the SIZE of the nose, it's the shape. And you could fix it if you felt like it. Just decide whether this is a horsey unicorn or a Peter Beagle style unicorn (I MUCH prefer the latter, btw). Then find a pic of a horse or a deer, and use it to refine the nose! *smile* Simple, so stop whining about how much you suck 10

please give yourself more credit' unicorns come in many shapes and sizes like humans, this one has a great technique to it,i love it and there is nothing wrong with it ' your just being to hard cause your thinking on the basis of what most people think in a unicorn and so rightfully i wish to swat at them all cause unicorns are not the same..they are very different indeed'

Aww! I think it's cute. The unicorn has such a wistful kinda look. The proportions aren't perfect, but who am I to complain!? ^_~

Well, I'm not gonna mention anatomy problems, cuz you obviosly already know. My best advice is look at a picture of a horse or a deer when you draw a unicorn. That helps me so much. Also, practice. It's the only way to learn to draw unicorns unfortunately. But I don't mean to sound so negative, because it *is* a good drawing, and you do *not* suck so don't say you do. 2 It's really quite cute. I like it.2
