SciFi and Fantasy Art: Henry the Troll

Some days Henry wishes he could eat flies. He lives under the very strict control of Agnus his wife of ten years. She won't even let him out to rumble with wandering swordsmen. So he just wanders about the yard, uprooting trees and stepping on flowers. This was my first attempt at drawing a humanoid side on. I did it without a picture to go by so its shape is possibly not the best.

He has quite a pot-belly there doesn't he? lol... and oh my... what a long nose! Nice troll! ^_^

Well, seeing as how he's a pretty distorted guy, I don't hink it matters how accurate his form is. I have a lot of trouble doing things like this. I've had anatomy drilled into me so hard. It's nigh impossible for me to come up with a decent looking monster, mine just end up looking like poorly drawn people. So be grateful for your lack of people drawing skills. This guy looks great, he has an awful lot of character, and a really great form.

I was surprised to this picture.
He just see Japanese half god half monster, "Tengu".
Tengu has tall nose and wings and concern with Buddist.

Oh my goodness!! I can't believe it!! A picture of Henry the Troll!! I actually wrote a song called "Henry the Troll" in 1991 or 1992! My friend Danny helped write the lyrics. Amazing.
