SciFi and Fantasy Art: Spirit of Fire

I drew this picture after not having drawn anything for three months. I just couldn't find the inspiration to motivate myself. But now I've started drawing again and this is the first of my elemental pictures. She is the element of fire, sitting in a pool of molten lava. Fire is also my element. I have wind and water sketched out and they'll be up soon. Done in pencil then coloured on computer.

5 Jul 2004	Kirtana	Loading... Although a few of the other comments have refered to a love of fire I do not personally see that in this piece. Instead I see a love of passion and a form of complex simplicity. It is magical and subtle yet distinctly powerful.
