 | | | | | Date | Name | Comment | | | 12 Dec 1999 | Toni J. Kaukinen | hmmmm! Not bad. But I suggest you have a look into anatomy... wouldn't do me bad either... | |
| 15 Dec 1999 | Lisa Ann Stevens | Nice work. You definitely have the potential to be amazing. I would suggest that you do some study on natural body postitions and faces. Your proportions are really good and that's something that usually takes people a long time to learn. Keep up the good work. I can't wait to see more | |
| 30 Jan 2000 | Toni J. Kaukinen | Looking good, as usual! Next hint: try hard and soft pencils in the same picture. I don't do it, since I never seem to remember where it put those pencils... | |
| 22 Mar 2002 | Richard cicack | You have some nice stuff here, i'd like to see more. James Allen Mangas replies: "Thank you. I try to keep this gallery up-to-date anymore. Probably adding a new pic every week or two, and over time been getting rid of more older, less attractive ones. So, feel welcome to keep dropping by." | |
| 10 Apr 2002 | Lizzy | Looove the artwork. It's really pretty. It must be a small world, because I have a character at Asgard City. She actually just went through the ceremony a few nights ago. *S* Keep up the great work. James Allen Mangas replies: "Thank you. That is cool to hear. Hope you enjoy yourself there. Currently we are working on possibility opening a second room, more under my control, Severus. Most of the pages for it are already up. Feel free to stop by anytime." | |
| 16 Jul 2003 | Joey, but call me Ishmal | Love the Samuri pic, your an awsome drawer. You should start an anime show. James Allen Mangas replies: "Thanx, I assume you are refering to the Samurai-Ko picture (since I have another Samurai type pic, but not nearly as good). Yeah, anime has been a big influence on me, and while I would like to draw for an Anime or Manga, the time it takes me to produce even just a picture like that is quite above the time for others (though I prefer quality to quantity). I really should go back and finish that drawing sometime.... but working on another right now, and once it is done I will have 2 new pieces to upload. Thanx for stopping in, and leaving a comment." | |
| 12 Jan 2005 | PurpleRose | Would love to see some of your new art! =) James Allen Mangas replies: "Thanx. I would love to get some up. But due to work and school I havn't had much time to really do alot of work. But the desire to do a few new pieces is coming upon me " | |
| 13 Jun 2005 | Anonymous | Nice art! Keep up the good work- I'd like to see more. | |
| 14 Aug 2005 | Anonymous | James, nice drawings, Dad | |
| 1 Aug 2006 | Anonymous | I would suggest you pick up the book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards. Don't just skim it, go through it from cover to cover, go through the tutorials. It will help you cut the habbit of drawing what you want to see and focus on structure. | |
