SciFi and Fantasy Art: Begging the God

They survived the battle, but the Dragon is deadly wounded, and the Magician is to weak to heal him, but without the Dragon they are lost in the forthcoming fight. His last hope is to ask his god for help. Help is granted at the cost of his soul. The Magician points at the star-constellation of his god and the god returns the healing-powers, amplified. To protect himself, he stands in a pentacle, guarded by the dwarf and the elven archer.

The dwarf, Legalas(O.k, i know he is from Lord Of The Rings but still it just reminds me of J.R.R Tolkeins work ) And Gandalf, also i see it almost as if the dragon is about to attack. I know, it is not meant to be that way, but hey that is just how i see it. Great work, keep it up.
