SciFi and Fantasy Art: Dragon on the Rocks

Is it just me or does he seem to be posing for the camera? Oh, if you're just a bit confused, he's got one wing up and one folded on his back. I really should get around to ACTUALLY COLORING MY PICTURES! Tried that once: didn't go over so well. So, what do you think? I tried to make him more graceful instead of like the gigantic, scaly, ugly oafs-of-dragons that seem to have become so popular.

since there is nothing here I want to aplaud your work mines behind your look of handy work. I've seen dragons come and dragons go and this one is one I'd copy to look at again and again like most good dragon drawings. I've seen most of elfwood artists some good and some really bad. your is in the good area just for some priase you know. maybe you could expand your work to add more detail? I'll let you be the judge... anyway just though I'd say something good on this picture. did I do a good job?

Yes, he does seem very gracful!!! & I LOVE to see that in dragons now-a-days!!!! I'm really tired of the old "Ferocious-rip-your-head-off" types that are so common! This version I think is better than the other one, mainly due to it all being a lot more subtle. & yes too about the coloring thing! My comment on color for your other version was made before I looked at this one.... : )

He has a lovely regality about him, almost as if he's watching over his lands or something. The pose is nice too.
