SciFi and Fantasy Art: Fey Goddess

Yay! My favorite piece! This is a pseudo self-portrait. I know that she can be a tad androgynous looking, but since I have never done a face alone before, I'm not very good at making it look feminine.

This is a fey or half-dragon inspired Goddess figure. Her colors are gold and blue. She is a shifter, so her form may look like anything between a full fledged gold and blue dragon to this fairly human form. Wings, tail, and claws in her half dragon form come into play when she feels like it, and when necessary, she will shift her form to other, more low-profile forms.

This is a pencil sketch colored in Photoshop. The gold coloring was hard for me because I've never tried pseudo-metallic coloring before. The background was quickly made so I had a background for her because white or black just wouldn't cut it.

7 May 2004	Jenny 'Dumpysaurus' Barnes	Loading... Hmm, I think her gender is obvious enough. I would've known even if you hadn't said it.... the neck may be a little thickish, but it looks fine overall. I like how she has her head inclined, it looks almost mischeivous!
