SciFi and Fantasy Art: Ice Queen

You have crossed many glaciers to reach her castle. Perhaps it was your skill, or perhaps only her indulgence that has kept you from being swept into a crevasse or buried under one of the many avalanches that--at a whisper from her lips--thundered past you into the abyss. The Ice Queen rules the windswept summits of the Hanayan Range where only the brave dare to climb, and only the cleverest return, some with only half their wits remaining.

At the foot of her throne, you wonder: dare I beg a boon of this sorceress whose mere whim could freeze me where I stand? Indeed, despite your pounding pulse, you dare.

She smiles.

And that response indelibly marks your future...

This is another pencil sketch colored in Photoshop. Someday I should try to design her castle!
