| 9 Oct 2003 | Danielle A. Booth | *first comment polka* i like this alot and i think the proportions are fine and everthing, except for the right girls hand on the others head.. The thumb looks kinda weird.. But besides that, i think its perfect Anna Gustafsson replies: "The hands are awfully small!!! O crap. Thank you, my friend - without your comment I hadn't noticed... It's comments like this that I want..." | |
| 8 Sep 2004 | Eruve | I agree that the proportions aren't perfect if you're aiming for photorealism, but I think that your style makes it work anyway. In the same way that unnaturally huge eyes looks "right" in anime, the somewhat "strange" proportions looks good in your picture, more like a stylistic feature than a mistake. I think that it may be the fact that the unrealistic proportions are consistent throughout your pictures, so that they still seem well balanced, and this is not necessarily a bad thing. If your goal is to draw photo realistic pictures, just keep on trying, because you're very close as it is, but I must admit that I like your style as it is, since it's more personal than much of the other artwork you see on Elfwood. I think you are extremely talented and I love all of your pictures. And as for the subject of the drawing, I think you've portrayed it perfectly. Anna Gustafsson replies: "Oh, you almost made me cry! Thank you... I'm touched..." | |
| 4 Feb 2005 | Yuki | Wow, the picture is artistic. I agree with Eruve*, the proportions aren't perfect but your own style does make up for it. Though the subject is dealling with actual evil ja good there is no conflict between the two characters. This idea a probably accured to many but you make it unique. Anna Gustafsson replies: "*blushes* Thank you..." | |
| 20 Oct 2006 | The Mirbane | The picture is wonderful.
But I shall have to say that your friend is an idiot for asserting that evil and good do not exist. | |
| 19 Sep 2007 | Taurus Sun Cancer Moon | Actually, there is no such thing as good and evil.
Your friend's right. | |
