SciFi and Fantasy Art: Rebel Jester

I'm really excited about this picture because it's the first I've tried to do of one of my own roleplaying characters. His name's Rebel Jester, and he's the knife-slinging, stage-stealing, fun-loving guy most of you probably don't know or love, doing one of the things he most loves to do... laugh. About the actual pic: The head's a bit big, but overall, I think it's pretty good. Again, it lost a little in scanning and resizing. Done in regular lead pencil.

5 Dec 2000	Heini Hätinen	Loading... i hyave the same problem, i always draw the head too big!! o.O;; i hate to be the one who critisizes, but to make him look more like he'd be laughing, you should stretch the corner of his mouth more upwards =) eyes and eyebrows play an important in facial expresisons too. you should be able to tell when someone's laughing by just looking at his/hers eyes. (something that I should keep in mind..grin) neway, he looks like a fun chara! keep it up =)
