I love dragons. Plain and simple. Also, I have a fondness for invertebrates of all sorts. I personally keep pets that are a little... unusual. An update on my pets includes: 6 rats, 1 ferret, 2 cats, 1 short-tailed opossum (maybe he'll show up in my work soon?), 1 albino clawed frog, 1 paddletail newt, 1 veiled chameleon, 1 rough green snake, 1 flying gecko, 1 giant cave cockroach w/ babies, baby african black millipedes, 5 male mice (someone adopt them! I'm just fostering, but am growing attached way too fast!), 1 egyptian spiny mouse, 1 crayfish, guppies, and two really huge goldfish. Unfortunately my eastern toe biter died after less than a year. My animals are a HUGE inspiration to much of my work. my dragons eyes and such are beginning to resemble my reptiles, and I've dwelled deeper into the invertebrates of fantasy art, and much resemble my pets. There'll be more rats involved soon, as well!

Wonderful work! Rare to find an arthropod lover such as yourself. For the next six months I will be working with all the arthropods you listed, and 40 other species as well. They are amazing animals and if the reptiles and others inspire your work, maybe more people will be able to see the beauty of the world's largest and oldest populations of life. Keep up the marvellous work!

Was just checking to see what info was available for Eastern Toe Biter, came across your site. I just took some good pictures of an Eastern Toe Biter, and its eggs in the last couple of days. Pictures will be on my website soon.
