SciFi and Fantasy Art: Priestess of Avalon

iN the time of camelot, two religions ruled. christianty, and a faith so old, it dated thousands of years before christ. the goddess avalon. the goddess ruled over the earth, putting her power through her followers. in these times, these folowers were and are called witches. they had the power of the magi. they had control over the elements. but then, one day, the magician merlin passed away; and a little bit of avalon passed away as well. years later, the later of the lake was slain- and the link of avalon was lost forever. avalon had not disapeared though. until the day when King arthur was slain in battle. at that moment, avalon faded away...but yet there was one more thing ot do. exalibur. once a gift of the goddess to arthur, now it was time to return it.morgaine, the sister to arthur, mother to his child, and the last priestess to avalon, return the sword. the saxans overcame the land, and made it their own. and the rest...is history...... if anyone has any ideas on how to improve this, lke the chin or th ear, i cant draw either. please help!!!!

I can tell you that so far as I have seen in all the Merlin art you are the first person to have got one aspect correct. Druids (as Merlin was) never were endowed with flowing locks of hair, they had their heads shaven in a "tonsure"! This was in order to stop an enemy from cutting of the Druids the Druids hair and obtaining his powers from it! It was believed that a Druids powers could be either removed or copied by takin their hair!..........Well done!!

The easiest way to learn how to draw something like a profile of a face is to find a good example of it some where( a magazine, comic, your own face, etc.) and just practice drawing that perfectly a bunch of times while looking at it until you draw it by yourself with your own style. Practice makes perfect!2
