| 29 Mar 2002 | Tracey Lynne Parker | Grrr, that was so mean! Not to mention not true. I think she's beautiful, and certainly nicer and with more class than you. Her art is also incredibly beautiful. Melanie Day replies: "Heh. I like you! Thanks for the glowing compliments and the support. I don't think my art or I go so far as beautiful, but I don't think they're horrible either. Again, thanks for your support. I'll try to leave a comment on your site when I get a chance to look through it ^^" | |
| 4 May 2002 | Alex 'Kaya' McAlvay | Hello, and welcome to the woods! Just dropping by to say hello. If you have a elfwood related question I would be more than happy to try to help. I love your art in all sectiond espescially Zone though Bye ^_^ | |
| 22 May 2002 | Howard faria | Your abilities are obvious in your "realist"pics! But fantasy and "anime" style is so different, it's a little intimidating at first...i think. It's like learning a new language! You say you hadn't drawn very often before, but it sounds like you're gettin' into it now. That's good. Like a new language, the more you draw, the better you get at it. There are a number of tutorials online that are very helpful. Just keep at it. You're doing fine! | |
| 18 Oct 2002 | Lisa Vokes | Your very talented. I love your style, pretty realistic! My favorite picture of yours is "Fairy", i love the way you colored it! Keep up the awesome work Melanie! | |
| 26 Dec 2002 | Brad Miller | Hey there! I like your pics. I can understand your difficulty with proportions (according to your bio), they can be difficult, especially if there is a really cool or special angle you want to give a picture. It can blow your mind, and i'm sorry but I can't figure out anything to tip you with. If I think of it, I promise i'll be back. I usually don't have problems with hands as bad as alot of people I know (my dad for instance), but still , I cant tip you there either. See ya. | |
| 2 Jul 2003 | Star Kitai | I really love your art. You may think it's not good, but I truly like it. Hope you keep drawing, and If your reall mad at the people that flame you, just draw something really bad hapening to them. (It helps) *winks* Rock on! | |

| 11 Jan 2006 | Melanie Day | Hi, My name is also Melanie Day and i live in england | |
| 12 Nov 2006 | Anonymous | Umm...in your bio you said that you just starting drawing seriously (more than once or twice a year). Do you really consider drawing once or twice a year to make you a serious artist? Once or twice a year is not a lot of time at all. My suggestion, if you really consider yourself to be a serious artist, would be to draw, if not every day, every week. Practice makes perfect, the more you practice, the better you get. | |
| 25 Jun 2008 | Melanie day | i kinda like your stuff. and my name’s melanie day too! i live in new jersey. | |
