SciFi and Fantasy Art: Sleipnir

I slaved over this picture. It took days of pouring over anatomy books and horse magazines, and countless sketches so that I could come up with a feasible skeletal and muscle structure. Just so you know, there's a reason why people always draw eight-legged horses in profile. Its because its bloody hard from any other direction! After finishing the beast, I ignored it for a few months, just sick of looking at it. Then I finished up the background in a few hours, just so I could get it out of the way and work on something else. This is Prismacolor pencils (four colors, to be exact) on beige cardstock.
