SciFi and Fantasy Art: I am Earth

I drew this picture for Ilena Gecan, another artist here at Elfwood. She was my lucky comment #200, wich ment she could ask me to draw something special (I'll do that for each 100th comment or so, I think). She wanted me to draw an earth-horse, wich I thought was a superb idea, and so I did :)

About the picture:

It shows an earth-horse, of course, rearing up from the ground. It can show up everywhere on land, so be careful and don't litter as it doesn't like finding garbage in it's forests...

Black ink and coloured pencils, spent around 6-7 hours. Completed November 2006.

The pose and proportions are great, and I love the plants all around it and the leaves in its mane and the roots on its hooves! The colours are good too! This should have a mod's choice! o.O Michelle Tolo replies: "Thanks! I like the pose too, actually I tend to draw very boring poses for horses, but I think this one got at least a little bit different from the other ones ^^"
