SciFi and Fantasy Art: Jared and Lina

Hurriedly made to kickstart my fantasy-related sketches to Elfwood. I thought that I'd just put a standard character portrait to wet my feet since this would be the first time in nearly eleven years that I've drawn swords-and-sorcery stuff, so please be patient and kind. I usually try to draw in anime/manga, but it would be a good idea to cross pollinate for versatility's sake. The names were selected from the first proper nouns that popped into my head, so here they are.

25 Jul 1999	Michael Lee	Loading... I intened to make Jared look somewhat dreamy, but you're right, he seems to be looking TOO intently at Lina to make that all too obvious. As you mentioned, Lina is a strong character, a magician, so she shouldn't have too much trouble fending for herself against overzealous gentlemen callers.
