| 15 Apr 2003 | Olutoyin Fayemi | Nice work with the pencils. The scene is very eerie. I agree with the above poster, it reminds me of 2 people trying to console each other before the freeze to death. Don't know if that's what you meant, but it's a great pic either way. | |

| 16 Apr 2003 | Cathy Buburuz <cathyartist@hot...c | I love this one, Ellen. It looks so highly textured. Whenever I see art I like, it inspires me to write a story. Thanks for sharing | |
| 26 Apr 2003 | Erin Stevenson O'Connor | I really gotta try the white pencils on colored paper thing -- I love the light effect you've made here. Good composition too. | |
| 4 Aug 2003 | Marco Müller | This picture looks cool and it is a very unique and moody piece of artwork. I like how you made the moon that bright and standing out. Coloured paper is a very beautiful medium because you can add shadows and even highlight parts of the drawing (which is much harder to do with a white paper)... this leads to greater depth in the picture. I should drive to a larger city and try to get a white pencil, too. =) | |

| 14 Jan 2004 | Cristina Marsi | Awesome painting I love the colour, or better, the lack of colour in it, which gives it its peculiar mood. I only regret it is not a bit larger, would like to see details better | |
