	From The Lord of the Rings comes Arwen, beautiful, captivating daughter of Elrond. This is NOT taken from the film, rather, my interpretation of the literary character. Pencils of varying hardness.

Still haven't finished LOTR yet but maybe I'll pick it up again (one day in the far future no doubt) This is a brilliant pic though, absolutely love the shading darling, oh yaaarrrrs! (flicks hand in somewhat homosexual/camp manner) No seriously, it's brilliant. I cna't draw women to save my life, no relaly, ask me to draw a woman or be shot in the head, I'm a dead man. Maybe I'll just trace your pictures... Thanx for commenting on my gallery by the way!!!!!!!!!!!! However long ago it was. A-Dam Maya R. Hirschman replies: "Thank you very much, A-Dam. It helps to draw women when one is already a woman. So, presumably, it works the other way for men. I know it took me a long time to become comfortable drawing men, so there's hope for you yet. "

27 Nov 2003	Verbena	Loading... this is great pic... i came across it on the tour.... but it doesnt't really depict what Arwen looks like... for one the movie makers people thingy majigers picked out the perfect person for their role.... liv tyler really is a perfect arwen Maya R. Hirschman replies: "Well, that's your opinion. Since this wasn't based on the film version, rather my own interpretation upon reading the books, I win."

I am always thankful for being given the ability to draw - now if I could just make some money doing it... "

She does look like shes thinking about aragorn...I love the windswept look of her hair and of course the expression...Just lovely...I really like her necklace, its a lot better than the one in the movies... Maya R. Hirschman replies: "I've always kind of thought her necklace was sucky, but thanks ! My focus was her face, not her ornamentation, but I'm glad you like it."
