<- Rey as a resident Richmonder. That's right, I moved across the entire friggin' country to the opposite coast. Whee. I'm an official graduate of Graphic Design now to, hence the move. Now I just gotta get a job with the damn degree...

Welcome to the temporary home of the elves of Arrakaar. Didn't mean for it to turn out that way...
The gallery be updated! Again! Come on people, pics that have been up for three months or more still with no comments... I feel so unloved. *sniffle* Lots of Glyn sketches, since he seems to be so popular with people in one fashion or another. Now here's one thing I don't get, if he's attracted so much attention, criticism even, why the hell couldn't anyone tell me his swords are backwards?!? No, really, they are. Look at the nice shiny realistic pic, then look at the reference pic. Take a good long hard look at them side by side. Now on second though don't bother because it doesn't really take that much looking to realize that the images of his swords don't agree.
I wasn't playing mindgames here, honest. My girlfriend and I have been RPing with and drawing him for the past two months or so, trading back and forth using either the realism or the reference pic to get the details straight. Never once did either of us bother looking at them both at the same time. I didn't even develop suspicions until I was drawing the picture of him older, I drew most of it using one pic as reference, then the next day or so glanced at the other and went 'whoops, didn't pay enough attention before, the hooks are on the wrong edge.' I changed them, then was looking over my old notebook with the realism pic and got confused all over again. I pulled out the reference pic and of course there it was staring me in the face. Well I feel stupid. From here on out I'm declaring the realism pic in the right because it's really kickass, whereas the reference pic is not as good and the sword on there can be changed a hell of a lot easier.
This gallery seems to be filling up with elves. They're not my main characters, really, just what I've been RPing with a lot lately. It's nice to finally get good pics of Telve though, back when I last worked on the idea of his character I couldn't draw him right to save my life. Now I gotta work on a D.S. pic I can put up here so you can see I do have human 20th century characters too. And I need to work on my webpage so I can get Glyn his own section, and I gotta get a job, and do the dishes...

*Sighs softly* Beautiful. These pictures have everything. They have color, they have pose, they have talent, freshness, and imagination. All I can say is a simple 'Well Done.' Is there anything else to describe excellence? (... besides excellent? ;O))

Your art is so delicate and well colored! I like the character pic of Glyndevon! Great to see other CGB in Elfwood! How fun =) (~Mirette)

Hey Rayven! Er...Reya...er...oh, nevermind. Man, I didn't know anything other HoND types were about on Elfwood (although I'm not surprised). I being Covielle, a traitorous FSM *and* CSG. (the shame! the shame!) At any rate: wow, your colored pencil work is top notch, and I love your CG work, as well. You seem to be very intuitive when it comes to drawing complex poses---darn you! *shakes her fist* I know what it's like to hit a nasty slump, and what it's like to hit a streak. The best thing to do is just let the pencil take a nice cool shower and let it come back when it feels like it. 2 Your character work is beautiful---it'll return soon. (And fix that link to your gallery! Pleeeeease!)

Hey Covielle... you know, I could be completely off here, but I'm getting the impression you really like Glyn. ;-> Thanks for the comments... I spend a lot of time getting into my chars poses to try and think how the clothing falls and whatnot... I think I remember using some refence photos for Nona though.

Ack! It deleted part of my bio!!! Sorry if it doesn't quite make sense up there folks, between the h4's and the main part it lost a section of me babbling about Glyn...better go re-enter that...
