Thank you much for posting a comment to my "Wings of Destiny" story, Monica. It means a lot to get good comments, as we writers often don't get near as many as the artists. The continuing adventures of Avalis Brightwing have already been posted to my page, I wasn't sure if you knew... they're called "The Rainbow Feather", "A Quest of Seasons", and "Destiny Revealed" in that order. I must warn that they're kind of long for short stories, especially the last one, but you're welcome to give them a read when you have the time. I'd love to hear what you think. Also, you're welcome to draw anyone you'd like from the stories... I'm a terrible artist and I think it'd be wonderful to see how artists much better than me interpret the characters. You did a nice job on your avariel girl for someone who just briefly read about them. About naming them... well it's always tough, but I have fun with it. ::chuckles:: Avalis' name actually came from an old Commodore 64 game I once played called "The Eternal Dagger". There was a dungeon called "Avlis' Tower", run by a mad wizard who liked to set sadistic traps. I was looking for a name that sounded avian, and that mad wizard came to mind for some reason. I added a letter and there is was! I have the perfect name for your avariel girl if you're looking for one. Aviana!! She's the star of a novel length story I'm "secretly" starting and Avalis' daughter. Your picture is about the spitting image of what I've pictured her as looking like. That's my opinion anyway. kick ass drawings! i could never be that good unless i tried, really hard, and thats' too much effort, i hate effort, it makes me tired ya know. especailly reading, reading is too much effort unless it's comics or manga. keep up the good work, u have a real talent u should hold on to and some day maybe make a career out of it, that's what i'd do.

hey, Monica! I've strayed to elfwood once more, after....jeez, probably a year and a half, plus...I started high school, and I'm going into 10th grade this fall- well, you know how that is.
