SciFi and Fantasy Art: Tripsicali

<html> The obligatory faerie picture... This is Tripsacali, an atomie cohort in the shared Tethyr campaign.

Drawn on lined notebook paper during a game session, spilled Guinness on it later that night (D'Ohh! *Smacks self on fore-head*) So it has been EXTENSIVELY retouched and colored. Incomplete, I will post the finished version later.

You spilled beer on it? I can hardly tell! Oooooooooo, I like this! I like the color you used and how thin and whispy she is, hehe, sort of has a manga feel to it for me, like Five Star Story (not to be confused with Story of the Five North Stars), tres cuteness! ;-DWell I did say "extensively retouched" didn't I?

This is great! Most fairies you see here looks like a human girl with wings on. This looks almost insectoid.Well that is the point. Faeries are alien little critters.

Aw, a fairy! Ask anyone and you'll discover I adore fairies. ^_^ This is definitely a unique one. Like another commentor said, most look like humans with wings. She looks great-A cross between an alien and an insect. Great job! ^_^I have always pictured the fae as a completely different thing from humans. So I like to portray them as strange, even alien, rather than pretty.

Love it! Very... skeletal. The eyes are ever so slightly threatening though, wouldn't like that fairy sneaking up on me in the dead of night to whisk away my teeth...

:-) Andrew P. Morris replies: "Well... 'Calli would play nice... no sharp pointy objects! She promises!"
