SciFi and Fantasy Art: Asa the Peer

Gott, I don't know what this is.... I just sat down and drew it a little while ago. For now, her name is Asa (Ah-sah... short A's), and she's something called a Peer (yeah, like the 'jury of your peers'). Perhaps I'll draw some more of her soon.... get a few Asa sketches up here.

23 Jun 2000	Elissa	Loading... Could you be thinking of Asa from Peer Gynt? Not that this is anything like her, but it would explain the name.
10 Feb 2001	Somebody	Loading... The name could be Asanchis or Asalavacus...or something strange like that. Just a suggestion. I really like the picture a lot...it shows the physical prowess of the creature, but I think the face is a little too human. Make it more animal-like. Overall, I enjoy the colors and shapes...nice job!!

I haven't and why not use the human face for more surprise. doesn't need to be animalistic at all. just because it's not human doesn't mean it can look human. and I think it's a very crafty drawing.

Comment on the picture, not on other people's comments. I LOVE that picture. It's so freaky, but it's freaky in a good way. I love the colors. It looks happy and energetic. Well done!
