SciFi and Fantasy Art: Widow of Atlantis

11x17' Watercolor and colored pencil on watercolor block. She stands in the water that covers a ruined city. Flowers and petals from the grand Gardens of Atlantis swirl around her feet. She scoops the pale petals up and tosses them into the wind. The wind floats them up and up. They take the forms of butterflies, and carry the souls of the lost world. She is the last. She is the Widow of Atlantis. One of two pieces done for the Enchanted Artists book 'Visions of Atlantis'. Check out my website for info on the book.
