SciFi and Fantasy Art: Irish Python: detail

Obi Wan Cookie's muse. I REALLY, REALLY wanted to draw an Irish python, so I hope you don't mind, Vida. The irony of this pic is that there are -apparantly- no snakes in Ireland!

Good job, Megan! This one is my fave. ^_^

No snakes in Ireland...? Then I want to go there! Texas has all of America's poisonous snakes. I forgot what they are.. but there are three of them, and they're deadly. Sucks for us!

His litle hat is so cute. ^_^ He makes me want to huggle him.

2 Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "Thank you! Yep, no snakes in Ireland. Well, so I have heard... There's a legend that St. Patrick drove them all out, or something. I love Ireland.

Tasmania (like the rest of the country) has all sorts of creepy poisonous things. Snakes, spiders, even the ants here are deadly. Seriously! We have the world's most deadly ant. They're called jackjumpers, and they're NASTY. "

Funny funny.

1 Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "Indeed."

Ahhh, how delightfully ironic.
You are exceptional at animals, I'm very jealous!

2 Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "I love drawing animals. Especially furry ones. And snakes. Snakes are fun."

I know! You can draw me a badger in a kilt.

:-) Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "Aww, cuuute, a badger in a wee kilt! Maybe I will. After the Dark Sider pic. Maybe."

Wow. An Irish python? But why not a Scottish?

:-) Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "Because."

*ROFL* - how great2!!! i loooooooooooooove his hat2!!! first of all, only the idea of a snake wearing a hat... hahaha... and then, even SUCH a hat... ;-) and then i read your description... hahahahahah2! great one - specially becaue of the fact of no irish snakes2!!! hehe... what's that furry thing on the bottom? great picture2!!! specially the shading of the hat.

:-) Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "Yup, no Irish snakes. ^^ St. Patrick got rid of 'em, supposedly... Anyway, thanks very much! I like the hat too. The furry thing is a griffin, who inconsiderately stuck his big head into the picture. 12 "

I SO love the tophat. That it’s seated on the top of a snake makes it eaven better. Especially since I love both tophats and snakes in general.
Does the snake have irish accent, being a Irish python, or does it not have an irish accent because there’s no snakes on Ireland? Or does it have no irish accent because it’s a snake and usually speak snakish and not english? O.o
Anyways. It’s awesome. ^^

:-) Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "I guess it speaks Parseltongue with an Irish accent? o_O;

Gee, that top hat is garnering something of its own fan club..."

If I steal the tophat, will I be able to ransom it to the fanclub, by any chance? 10 Cool scales.

12 Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "Only if I get a cut of the profits.

Maybe I should draw the hat in its own picture, then it can truly hog all the glory..."

the detail is amassing! the hat just adds to the iorny and fantisy of it all. cool! I wish I could have this pic. as a poster for my room.

:-) Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "Aww, I’m sorry it’s not in poster form. 8 You can print it out if you want, but it probably wouldn’t work too well with the black..."

you did this colored pencils?!? *screams and runs around circles* *faints from lack of air*

*Natalie’s dog comes up* um...in other words, she likes this pic very, very, very much. *drags her by the hair* bye, Megan. =)

:-) Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "Wow, this pic is so old, I’m surprised it’s so popular. ^^; I think I really should do a better version..."
