SciFi and Fantasy Art: Lindan

Request for Cecily 'SLWS' Webster for 100th overall commenter. This is her demon-possessed albino character Lindan.

The captain looked back and his brow furrowed. There was something different about the foolish weakling he had duped. He looked into the crimson eyes and stepped back with a startled curse. He had seen Hell burning there, a Hell eager for his soul... ~ (excerpt from 'double-soul-cross')

My Igor preceeds me!

Oh, wow. You always draw so mightily. [does little purring chirp] And you managed to get the sweet side of him in there too!! [goggles] Reminds me of the kid from The Omen. [huge wolfy grin] Quibble? Please one quibble - the pupils of people with colour in their eyes are black because the solid colour of the iris shadows the back of the eye. With someone totally tyrosine deficient like Lindan the pupil is only very slightly darker than the iris because light hits the back of the eye with only transparency to stop it. But then he'd probably look totally pupilless. It's only a min-quibble for the obsessional. I am so pleased I hall have to spread the happy feeling...

Most mighty!!!

1 Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "She likes it, she does!! Heheh, you like the fact that I drew him as a kid, then? I drew this before I'd read Transactions, and then got worried thinking that I should have made him older... I'm so happy that you are happy.

Thanks for that bit of info about the eyes. I will keep that in mind if I ever decide to draw a red-eyed albino again. "

Wow fantastic eyes he looks ready to blow his stack and become the fully fledged demon, i like it indeed!

:-) Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "Thanks! Yes, that was exactly the effect I was going for!"

He looks ... like a demented gnome.

But he looks good. He does, honestly. Not quite how I imagined him, but then, I always idealize people. He looks really evil, in a Gollum-ish way. Yes, as if he's just about to hiss: "My precioussssssss..."

:-) Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "A demented gnome? That's... an interesting perception, I must say... *coughs a laugh*"

Wowzers...

That's some good Albino. I bet he goes great on Rye Bread. So calling bread Rye is good for it's self esteem. Makes it thinks it's achevied the status of Rye..and not Short.
(This stating about the Self esteem of bread is pointless and could continue well into the night)

1 Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "Haha, thanks!"

I think he's glaring at me. I keep thinking I'll look over my shoulder and see him, hey?

Ack. I just talked like a character in one of the books I read. Jeez, I'm going mad. I blame it on Lindan.

12 Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "Blame it on Cecily. She created him."

KIM: wooooooot.... me loves this pic, maybe...
RAHAH: hell, me sees hell, very nice, there is hell in kims eyes too right now, i thinks shes gonna kill me, what with the dented, lichen encrusted frying pan shes weilding, and the way that I has blood stains on it and the fact that shes about to swing it *gets head bashed in with a frying pan*

22 Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "*winces at the clanging pan* Ouch, that's gotta hurt... Nice frying pan, though."

He has a bigger nose than what I see when I see Lindan, but otherwise it's an admirable vision. Has a distinctly demoniacal look.

:-) Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "Thank you!"

I agree about the nose, I always imagined him to have a thin one, aristocrat-like, you know? I love it...

Yeah... his nose is like this because I was trying to make him look young. It's kind of difficult to draw thin noses on children, because they have such underdeveloped features...

Actually, you know what he looks like, those kids in that movie...what was it? With all the ice-blonde kids that were born in the town and then their eyes lit up, sort of like, and killed everyone. You know what I'm talking about?

1 Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "Yeah, yeah! I know the one. Children of the Corn or whatever it was called. Heh."

:-) Megan ´Angler´ Proverbs replies: "Thanks!"
