| 8 Jul 1999 | Ian Rath | Heh, I'm firstish. Well, where to begin.... I'm thinking the hair is a little off for a native american, and the facial structure, ie the eyes seems a little oriental. The shoulders are very square, and the neck is short, and those two, in short, seem very masculine. As for the rest, you may want to think about where the spine is going to go, the whole piece seems to suffer from a lack of symetry. If you can fix the centerline in your head somehow, you may be able to correct that. The arms are somewhat short for the body, as is the rib cage. The elbows on most people, if I remember my proportion correctly, are just above the waist/pelvic girdle. On a woman, I think, the hip swell may actually be somewhat above this. The wrist & hand should fall somewhere around mid thigh, so that will give you a gauge on the forearm length. All in all, it looks like a good place to start, and you asked for it. Take it easy, my friend. | |

The only problem I can see is with the arms, the upper arms seem a bit short, and they look a bit too thin overall. Other than that she's good. I find it extremely difficult to draw and roleplay at the same time, it's hard to keep that much concentration going, so well done. | |
