I'm sure loads of people will recognise the character and probably the original artist here...sorry...full respect to Julie Bell who did the original painting *sighs* I was only trying to achieve the beautiful fluid metalic effect she gets - didn't work did it? I'll keep trying...

12 Apr 2000	Reina Russell	Loading... Don't know who Julie Bell is, either. But that's ok. I love this one, your proportion is phenomenal, and if ye want it to look more metallic, try making the light glinting off the metal more noticeable.

10 May 2000	Michael John Morris	Loading... I looked at this because of your comment on the discussion board. Julie Bell, she's very skilled, like her husband. I don't like their work generaly, looking at pretty models with weapons can tire you after a time, even if they are as well painted as Julie's. To get that 'fluid metalic effect', first you've got to understand reflection on metal. Once you do, then you can make ANY object look metalic. I like the flat planes of shadow, very 70's SciFi bookcover style. I would call this fantasy as it is.
