SciFi and Fantasy Art: Guardian of the Creative Spark

A friend with a fondness for jaguars recently remarked that watching certain extraordinary movies, reading particularly good books, simply witnessing art of a spectacular nature, causes her creative 'spark' to flicker and dim -- a feeling I can sympathize with, and often share. My scatterbrained thoughts promptly offered up the advice that she find herself a lantern -- and I was so enchanted by the image this brought to mind that I pulled out the tablet and drew it.
