SciFi and Fantasy Art: Semirhage

Ok, I personally think she needs a little work, but I like her expression.

NOW your talkin!!! This is DEFINATLY the Torturer of the chosen (forsaken). She always liked whips and chains and stuff, but I always viewed her like this, plain dressing, not into high heels and :21hudders vinal:: like some artist render her.... S&M would be her in the modern world. but as far as WOT Goes, u hit the nail on the head as far as I am concerned. kudos.

According to interviews with Robert Jordan, and other sources such as the Wheel of Time Sourcebook which was put out on the market some time back, Semirhage has been proven not to be caucasian. I haven't went back through the books for references yet, but, just thought you might want to know. Apparently, she's much like the Sharan nation to the east in her skin tone (more like modern day african/african americans). Just thought I'd throw in my two cents

I like her, I dont think shes too skinny at all. How come some people always dont like the skinny people in elfwood? I think shes pretty, and I like the smirk too. Unfortunately I'm not a WOT fan otherwise I'd rant and rave and raise my arms up in the air while I extoled her likeness to the char. For obviously you are amazing enough an artist to capture her -whoever she is- as she is supposes to be. However, from the other comments I have seen, I can see she is supposed to be a violent torturer of innocent victims? She kindof looks to me to be more of an evil stepsister kind or a maniacally laughing spectator to some evil violence rather than a disher-outer. But thats just me.

Wow, that is a great picture! I imagined Semmi as being pretty evil and you captured her. Kind of that Morticia type look. Hehe. Love the dress!

Her hairstyle is supposed to be short and wavy, but still a good picture. You got the long slender fingers though. Also interesting dress style.
