SciFi and Fantasy Art: Jabberwock

For inspiration, we were given several poems to choose from. One of my favorite poems of all time was there: 'Jabberwock' by Lewis Carroll. I decided to portray the beast as a dragon, and this is what I got...

It is a very well done pic. However, I believe you are killing off the wrong beast.

People....sorry for this incovience...but ....THIS IS NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT A DRAGON!!!!! it's called a Jabberwock...and it's from L. Carroll's mind...and L. CArroll is a genious <sp? and I believe that the title of the poem was spelled "JABBERWOCKY" there's an y at the end..great piccy...but it's just a tad too bright for a scene such as this...though the jabberwocky is kinda neat...NO IT"S NOT A BABY/ADULT DRAGON! all u dragon protectors out there can just leave the building cuz this isn't a dragon! he might have BASED it on a dragon, but tis not a draggie...12Thank you all very much, i will go now....1 P.S.--and that poem is very very REAL!! 2j/k. (do i have problems?...yes.)

Umm. Mr.Ja'kall...that is a JABBERWOCK(y?), not a DRAGON. Hmph. Tells you something about humanity. Oh yes...I've just officially become attached to that poem 2

I just read this poem earlier today, coincidentally enough. The poem is very deranged and has an air of mysticism about it. I picture such a creature to be more surreal than what has been depicted. This is very definate and visible. Mind you, it was inspired by the poem and is not really depicting it. It's a great picture as a whole. Beware the Bandersnatch.

If you love Tolkien then you should know it's not by him.

The Drawing is very clean and really captures the "snicker snack"
