SciFi and Fantasy Art: Big Neon City Vampire

Wow this picture looks just like a character that one of my friends described for a game of Vampire: The Masquerade!!! Really nice picture. Does the "dragon" have a personality?

steven brust -- jhereg, right? i started that one -- got a decent chunk into it -- but it bugged me. (that's neither here nor there, of course.) and i love the fact that he's wearing a tick shirt. anyways, i'm not sure if i would've moved this from your loth gallery. vampires (not to mention dragons) are much more creatures of a (so-called?) fantasy world than members of a scifi universe, at least as its usually defined -- they stem from myths and folklore and are supernatural beings, not creatures of technology. i think a lot of people automatically think that just because something is modern, it can't be fantasy -- that there is no place for a fantastic creature in the modern world, but scifi is ok b/c it originates with human innovation. hmmm. that was supposed to be my two cents' worth. think i maybe went a little overboard....
