SciFi and Fantasy Art: When he's leaving

Are you tired of my neverending praise yet? If so, feel free to ignore this comment, because as usual, I'm floored by your talent.

She is lovely... The expression on her face is a mix of pouty, depressed, anxious, lovelorn, and proud. She looks so reluctant to show her true feelings. Her eyes are downcast, but her head is held high... broken but strong. You did a great job of capturing that feeling. And what's this about being "just a sketch"? It looks very complete to me. The only things I think it could use are 1) a little bit more detail in the hair, and 2) a very simple background, like a horizon or a banner of Rohan... something along those lines. But the rest is wonderful -- don't change a thing!

About the background.. Well, yeah, maybe I should draw one behind her but, hey, that's why it's just a sketch. And actually I am not good at backgrounds, I don't really like them either, I always spend too much time drawing the faces, and I usually don't continue the drawing with a background. Ah, I think this sentence was unintelligible, sorry for my bad English... Anyway, I concentrated on the emotions while I was drawing this pic, that's why it's not too elaborated. I am very very grateful to your comment, I really don't know how to thank you.... "

Oh it does look like how eowyn was feeling in the movie.. and the book although it took me ages to read the books (it was before i saw the movies though)

Fazekas Hanna replies: "Well, I'm glad you like it. I read the books before the movies too, and I'm so happy I did, because I like the books better. I really like the movies, though, I think the first part is absolutely marvellous (I wasn't so thrilled by the other 2 parts, though)."

I love this. Eowyn is probably my favorite character from the Two Towers, and you captured her sorrow here so perfectly. Lucky Aragorn, to have two gorgeous women to choose from!! It's just so painful because he respects her, but can never love her back.

Fazekas Hanna replies: "Personally I think Faramir is a much better guy than Aragorn, so I'm glad Eowyn finally choses him. Anyway, thanks for the really kind comment, I'm so glap you like this picture, no one seems to like it."

Your Eowyn is stunning! Pretty but no photomodel, which is a good thing for she was a maiden no model

Sweet! That's the way I imagined her in the books! SSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO purty!!! I love her hair.
Poor Eowyn. She got dumped for an Elf, but of course, Arwen was there to start with.

Fazekas Hanna replies: "Oh, it's so much better this way, Faramir is a way better guy than Aragorn! At least, in my opinion.. ^__^ They are a nicer couple than Aragorn+Arwen and my favourite part of the books was when they got together. Anyway, thanks again for the lovely comment!"

beautiful pic!!!! you capture her perfectly! i love the way you talk about her, taking the word right out of my mouth...... does anyone else see her?? i think eowyn/aragorn was a nice thought, and good of AU, but you never ever pair likes together.... they don't say oppsits attract for nothing.... i hate arwen....
