You're right, Shiva's a god...THIS is a goddess, Shiva's counter-part I guess you could call her, since you gave her the same characteristics pretty much- what with the dancing and all...but is she wicked at times? If I remember correctly, Shiva had a wicked streak in him...Gee, it's been a while though, I haven't studied Hindu mythology in about 4yrs now...You did a great job getting all those arms in there. Ah, and lovely blue skin
I have a hindu pic of my own, the lovely Ganesh (if you're interested). He hasn't been getting much attention in these woods I made him back in highschool when I did a lot of studying on that kind of stuff (I didn't want to be out of the loop with Madonna's Ray of Light album now!). Actually, I have heard of Shiva being both a GOD and a GODDESS. But I do like this piccy, especially the arms. I can't draw arms or hands for crap. I'm soo jealous...

I love the arms! As for the hands, look at the second set down. I don't know about you, but I can't do that with my hands! Lol. The rest look good, though. It's a very cool picture. I love it!

I think the female aspect of Shiva is called Shakti.
I may have the wrong god but I'm pretty sure its Shakti.

She reminds me of Shiva.
