| 6 Feb 2004 | Allison 'Violinagin' Dollar | Ooh! I am the first to comment! Wee!! Anyway, I just LOVE this one . I've really got to try that inverted thing, because it looks like you can get some really cool effects with that. Well, at least you got some really cool effects with it. That little creature is glowing! And the big creature is just slipping out of the shadows just right! Very inspirational ^_^ | |
| 15 Feb 2004 | Eilidh .R. Gordon | Wow koolness!!! This so smart, it's a really nice effect and makes the armor look really metal | |
| 23 Feb 2004 | Andréanne 'Ithiliana' Guérin | Wonderful! I'm just in admiration with the realism of your drawing! It seems to go out of the background... It would be great if I could draw like you, just in the shadow/light effect. The armor is very cool too, angular and beautiful. Do the little creature is a light faery? | |
| 21 Mar 2004 | Kathryn Keir | wow, that effect is awesome! I tried inverting your picture, and with it inverted it is the complete opposite: instead of knight in the dark, he is a silver knight in the bright day, and the creature of light is in actuality a creature of darkness. Thought the effect really turned the picture around, and both ways it really created the picture. great job! | |
| 4 Apr 2004 | Katelyn ((Kiki)) Kikenstein | the lighting in this pic is AMAZING. wow. just wow. | |
| 16 Apr 2004 | KryztaLynn Miller | Nice. I really really like it. The lighting is awesome and gives the picture depth. I also like the subject matter. I guess he got a little distracted from finding his way out to look at a beautiful little light pixie, who is wondering herself how the heck this knight got here? And none of them notice the monster creeping up behind them.... Uh, heh heh, never mind, just the product of my own disturbing ideas. Pay no heed and make no eye contact. | |
| 9 Jan 2005 | Sarah L. Koeninger | This is really cool. Did you plan to invert the colors before hand? That involve some serious pre-planning of colors to make it come off right! Excellent job. Nathaniel S. Summers replies: "Yep, I drew it with the intent of inverting it. And yes it did take a bit of forethought on my part. Thaks." | |
| 1 Sep 2006 | Alexandru Moisi | wow, this is really good, I couldn't really tell it was pencil, looks like a photoshop picture. Great job...reminds me of Magic cards artworks, which means a lot... | |
| 10 Apr 2008 | A. Sharma | I love this! You’ve really pulled this of fabulously, for the medium and the fact that it’s inverted!! | |
| 15 Aug 2008 | Melissa L. Withington | There’s something very cute about this picture. It’s difficult to make out the creature’s face (it almost looks scared), but the helmet and pose of the other character does suggest curiosity and maybe kindness as well. | |
