SciFi and Fantasy Art: Aphrodite

whee I wuff dis! ^_^ The folds on her shirt are so realistic...it's great! I can't do folds, it irritates the heck outta me X.x Ah, well. Keep up the good work!

This one is my fav outta of all of yours I tend to like nice black outlines, dunno why I just do. Maybe that's why I like this one so much. Your CG stuff tends to have the black lines smudged out in places (if you're using Photoshop or something try copying the layer with the lines and put the setting to multiply and use more layers inbetween for the colours - layers are your friends LOL) I like the way you did her hair too - I for one can't draw lots of lines in hair, just another one of my failings LOL. Anyhoo proportions are fairly good, though the shape of the arms is a bit odd and the hands are a mite small (but I'm picky about hands ) But otherwise a nice piccy Keep up the good work!

I totally got into understanding layers waaaaaaay after this pic - well, at least the CG version of this pic... and you are SO right; layers ARE our friends!!! I like line art too... I don't know- I've taken to doing all kinds of stuff here - so, yeah. Soon there will be another one up that pained me to color, but it's well worth it. This pic, sadly, I don't have a hard copy of anymore. It was stolen. People are dumb. Anyway, I've rambled on enough about this. Natalie Rose Fisher replies: "I wish now that I'd done more shading - I realize that I've left it blank, except for the inking. I don't mind it though. ^_^ Thanks. I wouldn't be caught dead in that shirt... I don't think it looks too sturdy, even if I did design it... Hmm.."

I just finished one something like this (it won't be up for another week though, thanks to the ticket process), only mine is an elf, she doesn't look anything like yours but the rose and skirt remind me of it, lol but this is far more beautiful than mine, great work!

Natalie Rose Fisher replies: "Swank - I really liked the way that the rose turned out in THIS version, it was colored w/ a marker pen and colored pencils so I got a bold, yet soft look. Yes. I feel I accomplished this, however idiotic I sound ^_^"

I for one think u did a awesome job! I tend to look deep into ur work i expect the best from u i dunno y i just do i guess u can say im a huge fan!!! Lol! Ur art is amazing!!!
