SciFi and Fantasy Art: Tricia's Gypsy

I did this for my half of an art trade with Tricia who I'm so happy w/ HER half, wish I could've done better ^_^ I decided to not be cheap and put the bad background one in here, so you can see more detail, and you don't have to look at a crummy background, mmmkay? Now, see, I'm not in the best of moods, so I'm really not going to say anything else right now. Yeah. Go Tricia for having a super-sweet talent for art ^_^

^^ I adore her outfit, and the cute little curls in her PURPLE hair!!!!!!!! Waaaaaaiiii! I must finish my half of my art trade with youuuuu. Oo;;

:-) Natalie Rose Fisher replies: "hehe you DID and I love him to pieces ^_^ But now I totally have to color Toroki for you!! Okay. We're set. Must work on it, expect it by next week! I have the play this week, but I'll work on it as much as I can. *grin*"

Bwee, she's so pretty~! Good job on the pose, it looks great ^^ Drawing people sitting cross-legged is hard x_x;

:-) Natalie Rose Fisher replies: "I'm glad someone thought the legs looked okay. I like drawing people that way cause I totally get sick of drawing standing up people, and this way (indian style) is much easier for me to draw than standing up or lying down. Weird, huh?I guess I'm just like that too ^_^ I always sit cross-legged on chairs and the floor... and stools... it's kinda scary. Hehe"

Oh, how lovely! This is my new favorite in your gallery!2 The girl is so pretty (oh, those incredible blue eyes!.. 2 and the coloring is great. Love your choice of colors here… Can you color MY hair in such a beautiful violet?2)

:-) Natalie Rose Fisher replies: "Hehe if you want I could - well, given a picture of you and stuff... I'm sure it'd be fun to re-color people in photo-manipulation Hehehe Thankies for the comment Anya!! 2"

YAAAAY! You put the drawing up! Well, I don't know when my next update will be...but I will put up my art trade drawing (to you) up when I do...DEFINATELY!

Also...(I'm glad the person above likes her oufit too) That's a good thing!

Did I ever mention I drew her while watching "Ten Things I Hate About You" (I don't know WHAT the heck inspired me...) (ya ya, random info I know)

:-) Natalie Rose Fisher replies: "I didn't know that. I love the movie tho, Tricia ^_^ Anywho, yeah. I dunno - the outfit is totally great, just that the shirt is REALLY hard to CG -_-;;; I had some trouble w/ it and wow, yeah - like it was amazingly impossible at first. I'm glad you and others liked it ^_^ I want to draw that patch-girl of yours next Hehehe 2"

Heh, I don't really know how to think about her hair. On one hand I really like the colournuances in it and the little cirls in her ponytail. On the other I miss a contourline. Maybe it's just me.. I mean, I DO have a very high love for contourlines, but I can't help to think that this picture would be teen times better with a more clear contourline on this one. There's a lot of placves it seems to be missing. @_@

:-) Natalie Rose Fisher replies: "I won't deny it. I had some trouble with this one - I colored it very late at night from a very rough sketch... but Yeah, I forgot many-a-line ^_^ hehe I'm probably not going to redo it though; I really enjoyed the way the hair turned out - I don't think I could ever reproduce it that way again."

*jaw drops, hits ground, and shatters* DAH! She's... she's... GORGEOUS! How did you... why I oughta! Gimme some of that talent! Grrr. I'd sell my tail to be able to draw half as well as- *muted whispering* Wait. I've already sold it? DANGIT! =O,O= Um... good job? Ehehe? I love the soft pastels and the way that there's no hard black lines - an interesting effect indeed. It really is such a great picture!

:-) Natalie Rose Fisher replies: "I guess that doing my pictures like that in photoshop is becoming my trademark. I don't intend for likesay, there to NOT be line art... it just happens hehe Meh. But thanks. I like this one as well hehe... this pic could have been better, though. The original one before compression looked half way decent, this is kinda scary. But thanks. hehe"

I had a strange idea of this half human half fairy girl with elongated toes like Moql (the moorchild) wearing tevas barefoot.

Excellent porportions and her sweet face is to die for. The eyes are done extrememly well. Love the reet and hands--you have done them very well. 10

It is a good piccy but it is out of proportions. There is a lack of contour line. Her colouring is a bit disapointing but her eyes are lovely. You just need to practice more and you will become a feasonable, good artist
