| 12 Feb 2001 | Jukka J. Matikainen | Really impressive design here! The bow looks very cool, her hair is stylish, and the pose is nice too! Especially the shading is well done. Yes, perhaps you should change the eyebrows like you said, that would give her more attitude! A really good attempt at drawing women yeah!
you know ill NEVER get round to it dont you! i mean i just say that!im sooo bloody lazy, and thanks very much!
| 14 Feb 2001 | Cheryl Ann Johnson | *sigh* what is there left for me to say? Jukka said it all.^_~ No, but the hair, the bow, and the pic in general are awesome. I agree with both of you that if you changed the eyebrows, it could give her a little more definition too.^_^ and yes, the shading is AMAZING!^_^ But then, why am I not suprised, it is from you after all.^_~* No, but actually, it is harder to do women if your start with mean and vise versa. I'm not sure about the gender thing, but you could be right. It's just that the body structures are the same for the most part, but when you develop and eye for one way and then try to alter it for another, it always looks off to you.^_^ I think so anyway.
im dont think so, the stereotypical look for both are very different, elegance as a supposed to strength etc, the whole aura is different. look up summoner concept art, and you can see that their cothing is much more interesting. i say bikini armour has been done to death, yet i did it. who knows.
| 23 Mar 2001 | Jukka J. Matikainen | I decided to use this picture as my reference for the pic I'm making, I like the idea with the bow... Well actually, the character sketch is ready now, but it'll take a while before the pic is finished...haven't been able to use the comp very much this week...(I've been saying that to a lot of people but that's how it is hehe). Okay, just wanted to let ya know that I'm very much still doing the pic heh! And about the tech of mine...yours is great! | |
| 2 Dec 2003 | Ann | Yes, maybe you should change the eyebrows a bit, they are a bit close together, but it isn't necessary. Drawing a woman, you should watch out with overdoing things, like too long legs, too small waist and stuff. But you're doing it very well! And, hey, who am I to give YOU advice? I love your work! | |
